Kindle Reader photography books are now available for the new Kindle Fire. At last we photography
lovers can enjoy the wonders of Kindle in full color - yay!
Amazon claims that it is now selling more electronic copies of ebooks than paper copies, a trend that
is set to continue. And more and more, photography books are being produced which are suitable for
viewing on the Kindle screen - particularly books on learning how to do photography and improving
your craft. I love this whole new way of reading and learning on the move, wherever and whenever you
feel like it.
The new Kindle Reader has a 7 inch screen as opposed to the larger 10 inch displays which means
it will fit neatly into your bag or briefcase or even your pocket. It also means that Amazon has
managed to keep the price down, well below rival manufacturers. Barnes & Noble has also had some
success with it's Nook device but the technical specifications are not as good and the Nook is
around 30 US dollars more than the Kindle Fire.
Here's some of the stats for the Kindle Fire:
- 7" IPS (in-plane switching) display
- 1024 x 600 resolution
- Customised Google Android operating system
- $199
- Weighs 413 grammes
- Dual core processor
- 8GB internal storage
Not bad at all! The colors are really vibrant and you can of course view the web, movies, apps,
and games as well as read your favorite Kindle books. Below I've put together a selection of the best Kindle photography
books currently available including such well-known and highly-respected names as Michael Freeman and Scott
Kelby.
