Chinese Noodles Being Freshly Prepared

Chinese noodles freshly prepared taste nothing like shop-bought noodles. Yi Ar Gube is the chef at the Central Mosque in Wuzhong in Ningxia Province in China. He is 53 years old and cooks three meals a day for 60 people. He makes his own noodles and in these pictures you can see him in his kitchen preparing the dough and using the machine to produce noodles for the evening meal.

These images were shot at 3200 ISO, hence the grainy appearance. I could have run them through Noise Ninja or a similar programme to reduce the digital noise but, being old school, I rather like the grainy appearance. With high ISOs there is a loss of detail but you are compensated by an increase in atmosphere and mood.
